If you're considering your first aesthetics appointment but feel a little nervous about the experience, I want you to know—I've been there too.
I remember feeling intimidated by the idea of walking into a med spa. The clinical atmosphere, the uncertainty about costs, the pressure to make decisions on the spot—it all felt overwhelming. That's exactly why I created a different kind of experience.
My in-home appointments are designed to feel less like a medical procedure and more like time spent with someone who genuinely cares about helping you feel your best. Here's what you can expect when we work together.
Starting with Conversation, Not Treatment
When I arrive at your home (or when you arrive at mine, depending on your preference), we won't rush straight into treatment. Instead, we'll start by simply talking.
We'll sit down in a comfortable space and have an honest conversation about:
- Your skincare goals and what you hope to achieve
- Any concerns or questions you have about the process
- Your budget and what feels financially comfortable for you
- A personalized treatment plan that aligns with both your aspirations and your practical needs
Transparency About Costs—Always
Here's something I'm firm about: you'll always know the exact cost before we proceed with any treatment. No surprises, no pressure, no hidden fees.
I've been to med spas where I felt kept in the dark about pricing until the very end. Where I was presented with unexpected add-ons or felt pressured to agree to treatments I hadn't budgeted for. It was stressful and honestly, it made me feel disrespected as a patient.
That's not how I operate.
We'll discuss pricing openly during our initial conversation, and you'll have complete clarity about what you're investing in before we begin. If something doesn't fit your budget right now, we'll talk about alternatives or create a phased plan that works for you.
The Treatment Process
Once we've established a plan you feel good about, here's how the appointment unfolds:
Getting Comfortable
You'll settle into a comfortable treatment chair with a relaxing view. I'll give you a few minutes to get comfortable while I prepare everything we need for your treatment.
Documentation and Preparation
When I return, I'll walk you through each step before we begin:
- We'll take before photos (for your records and to track your progress)
- I'll gently cleanse the treatment areas using a soft gauze pad
- We'll do a final confirmation of the areas we discussed treating
There are no surprises. Everything we do has already been talked through and agreed upon.
The Injections
Using precise, gentle techniques, I'll perform the injections in exactly the areas we discussed. The process is quick—typically just a few minutes—and I'll check in with you throughout to make sure you're comfortable.
What Happens After Treatment
Immediately following your appointment, you may notice some small red bumps at the injection sites. This is completely normal and temporary—they typically settle down within 30 minutes.
Before you leave (or before I leave, if we're at your home), I'll:
- Review aftercare instructions with you in detail
- Provide you with printed aftercare guidelines for easy reference
- Answer any lingering questions you have
- Schedule a follow-up appointment in two weeks to assess your results
Your Results Timeline
Here's what to expect in the days and weeks following treatment:
- Day 3–5: You'll begin noticing initial changes
- Week 2: Full results become visible (this is when we'll have your follow-up)
- Months 3–6: Duration of results before a touch-up is recommended
The effects are gradual and natural-looking. Most people notice they just look more refreshed and rested—like they've had a great week of sleep.
Why In-Home Appointments Are Different
There's something special about receiving care in a familiar, comfortable environment. No sterile waiting rooms. No rushing from appointment to appointment. No feeling like you're just another name on a busy schedule.
Whether I come to you or you come to my welcoming space, the focus is entirely on you—your comfort, your goals, and your confidence.
The Experience I Want for You
My background as a critical care nurse taught me that good healthcare isn't just about clinical skill—it's about truly seeing and caring for the person in front of you.
That's what I bring to every appointment. Not just technical expertise, but genuine care for your experience and your results.
I want you to leave feeling:
- Informed – confident in your understanding of what happened and what to expect
- Comfortable – like you were treated with respect and kindness throughout
- Excited – looking forward to seeing your results develop
- Empowered – knowing you made a choice that was right for you
